Anti Bullying 2018

14th November 2018
We have been very busy across the whole of the school over Anti Bullying fortnight.  We have focused on helping all children to develop the skills, understanding and confidence to recognise and act if they see or experience any bullying.
The theme throughout the fortnight has been to 'choose respect over bullying'.
Odd Socks Day launched the theme and helped to encourage class discussion on difference and respect.
On Thursday 15th November we will be taking part in the first national 'Stop, Speak, Support Day'.  The children will focus on eSafety, cyberbullying, the anti bullying message and our school's code of conduct, CONSIDER AND RESPECT EVERYONE (CARE).
In recognition for the work we do on anti bullying the academy has been awarded 'silver status' from the Anti Bullying Alliance.
We are very proud of the continuing work we do in our academy on anti bullying.
