About Friends of Huntington Primary Academy
Welcome to the
Friends of Huntington Primary Academy (FoHPA)
Who We Are
The Friends of Huntington Primary Academy are a team of committee members and volunteers made up of parents of academy children. Our aim is to organise fun & social events each year, raising funds that enrich the experience for the children during their time at the academy.
For those who get involved on the committee or volunteering, it’s a great way to make new friends!
If you are a parent, grandparent or carer of a child at Huntington Primary Academy you are automatically able to be member of FoHPA and you can attend meetings and help run events. Everyone is welcome, and all help is greatly appreciated.
If you would like to get involved, please email the team: friends.of.huntington.primary@gmail.com or leave your details with the school office staff.

What We Do
Since FoHPA was founded in 2016, we have raised over £10,000 from our Christmas and Summer Fairs as well as smaller fundraising events such a family Speed Quiz and refreshments stalls at sports days.
The Summer Fairs in particular are epic events, with live music and sunshine creating a festival atmosphere!
Each year we provide all new starters with a water bottle, year 6 leavers with a personalised hoodie and KS1 children with a Christmas present. In addition we have provided each class with ‘wet weather board games’ and supplemental learning materials and so much more.
We are currently in talks with the Academy to arrange a special project that will benefit all children at the academy now, and for years to come….!!
We are always very keen to attract new people to join us, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration as the work of the Friends Committee is all part of the social learning experience that Huntington Primary Academy provides the children.
These days, we all tend to lead very busy lives so spare time is tight, but with so many different ways to get involved, there are options for everyone. It’s a fantastic way of socialising and becoming part of the school community so please do get in touch to find out how you can help or just come along to the next meeting.
